Lisa Bu

I am originally from China and have been here for over 10 years. In 2009, my daughter introduced me to her Rotary club in Invercargill. Although my English is not so good, I joined and found that the members of the club were very warm, welcoming and friendly to me. When they knew I could teach dance, they put me in charge of the festival activities. They were very patient to help me and give me guidance.

In 2014, I moved to Auckland and I joined the Rotary Takapuna North. I enjoy being part of this global organization where we can help people who need it most. I have been learning a lot from Rotary. The club members here are very supportive and I really enjoy playing my part in this organization.
